Q: I’m having to restart the game frequently, and it kicks the crap out of my computer when I shut the game down.Ī: Try turning off Desktop Windows Manager (DWM). I’ll list it like a Q&A and then throw some random tidbits in the bottom. Simple fixes will greatly improve your performance when running APB. Hi guys, since the servers are down I wanted to tackle a few issues I’ve been hearing friends complain about a lot. Also in Armas under the Refer a Friend tab, you can refer people or a sub account and earn points to get permenant weapons that are three slotted as well.APB Reloaded Making the Game Run Smoother Guide by Lazerbeams It all depends on how you want to play though and you should make your mind up for yourself but hopefully what i said has some impact of some sort.Įdit: Don't pick the ALIG if you want a good permenant gun to start off with, i was just talking about in the long run. You don't learn much from using them other than positioning and also PMG i consider to be fairly broken in it's current state, If you want to improve stick to other categories and don't main Pointman because it's a fairly simple role. For PMG's and OCA's it's best not to get in the habit of guns where you can just hold down left click without consideration. Just don't expect to use it often if that's the case, considering it's mostly anti vechile. You'll need a gun like it for alot of the missions. Pick the ALIG for the permenant starting gun, it'll serve you the most even when you get good and achieve max rank. Me and another friend have been playing this game forever and would happy teach you the ropes. If you need any more pointers, or someone to play with, hit me up on steam. Instead, if you die, regroup with your team, come up with a plan and don't all enter from the same position. This is a mistake that will always make you lose. If your team is struggling to take an objective, don't die, go in, die, go in, die go in. Every area has multiple entrances, mix it up. Until you are better at the game, they will almost always win.ĭon't enter a defended objective area from the obvious entrance. Never jump out of your car while an enemy is looking at you. I don't have the time for that, so I'll just spit out a couple short ones and wish you good luck. I couldn honestly go on forever in terms of tips and tricks to APB. Every enemy you kill lowers the likliness of the other team taking or defending the objective. If you see a teem mate doing damage to someone, double it. If a team mate takes damage, your ability to perform takes damage. Team play is more imporant in this game then 90% of game I have played. Once you get higher tier grenades and perfect the timing on them, you can just blow up the car and forget about shooting them. When they do, there is no reason why you shouldn't have the draw on them. Wait for them to reload, wait for them to drive up to you and jump out of their car. Kill people before they gang up on you, but avoid damage. The reason why is that the Star-556 (The starter weapon) is kind of similar to the N-tec and you REALLY need a good car.ĪPB is all about getting to the objective first and surviving. I would try to unlock the Broadwing first, and then the N-tec. Look up the unlock tiers for the progression of your team (Crim or Enforcer). If you practice, you can kill every other role in the game with ease. It is super difficult to use at first, though. If I had to suggest a weapon for you to master that will carry you into end game, I would say the N-tec is perfect. You will be really bad with most of them until you get practice. As far as guns go, they are all incredibly different weapons. It has a lot of health, OK speed and has four seats. If you want something easier to drive, really cheap and low level, the Broadwing is one of the best cars in the game for noobs. It has really low health, but decent speed and can carry 4 people. Once you do that, you need to get the guns and vehicle that match your playstyle.
The first thing you need to worry about is getting through all your contacts. Also, over 1200 hours on steam and I played it before it was on steam.
Played since the first beta, before the company the currently owns APB had rights to it.
